Terms of Use (EULA) — hedged
By creating an account or using hedged ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is
hedged is an observational market structure data tool. It interprets the mechanics of options markets and translates them into plain-language, educational explanations.
2. Not investment, legal, or tax advice
All metrics, regimes, scores, and analysis in the App are for educational purposes only and do not constitute investment, legal, or tax advice. The App does not provide personalized recommendations, does not tell you to buy, sell, hold, or size any position, and does not execute trades or connect to any brokerage to place orders.
3. Publisher's nature
The App publishes impersonal market commentary to the general public. It does not act as an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or broker-dealer.
4. Hypothetical / simulated performance (CFTC Rule 4.41)
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
5. AI-generated content
AI interpretations are generated from delayed snapshot data and may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify all metrics independently.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
7. Subscriptions
Pro features are offered via auto-renewing subscriptions processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective store.
8. Account deletion
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time, in-app via Settings → Account → Delete account, or on the web at https://hedgedvol.com/account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
9. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses or damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
